Cokebusters Attends ADIPEC 2018

Cokebusters Technical Director, Dr David Thewsey, and Commercial Manager, Duncan Cully, travelled to Abu Dhabi to attend the International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) with their Regional Representative, Tawfiq M Saleh.

With billions of dollars’ worth of business concluded at the event each year, ADIPEC is arguably the world’s most important oil and gas event and represented an excellent opportunity for Cokebusters to showcase it’s world-leading services and meet both existing and new clients in one of its key regions.

Running from 12-15 November, Cokebusters attended as part of the Welsh Government delegation, which supplemented what was already a busy diary by allowing access to Welsh Government and Energy Industries Council receptions throughout the week.

These receptions were great opportunities to network with other businesses within Wales and beyond, and certainly resulted in some very useful exchanges of ideas.

It’s not all work of course, and on one occasion Duncan even managed to leave the venue early enough to catch the spectacular sunset over the corniche!

The event itself was a great success for Cokebusters, with a significant level of interest being shown in its combined decoking and inspection technology at the exhibition, and everyone at Cokebusters is looking forward to building on this over the next 12 months before returning for ADIPEC 2019 next year.
