Responsibility

Ethics

At its heart Cokebusters is a family enterprise which was established with strong ethical values that flow through on the principles of good moral conduct every aspect of our business. By focusing our attention on quality, people, the environment and health & safety we endeavour to deliver a consistently professional, innovative and safe service to our clients.

Quality

All our work follows robust procedures for the development and delivery of our services including subsequent reporting and analysis.

For this we maintain certification against ISO 9001:2015 and within our inspection business we follow the principles of ISO 17020:2012 – Conformity Assessment.

All our operators are graded and assessed by experience in the field and by desktop examination.  Certification and evidence based competence assessment information is available for examination, by audit or otherwise.

People

We take our role as an employer seriously; providing development and support at all stages of the employee life-cycle, and ensuring a strong focus on health & safety, quality and team-working whether at our premises or on our clients’ site. Cokebusters believes in equality of opportunity for all and strives to recruit the most competent candidate for every role regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexuality, disability or any other non-job related characteristic.

Cokebusters does not condone the use of child or forced labour in its supply chain of products or services and will not do business with subcontractors or business partners who engage in unlawful or unethical labour policies of any kind.

We have a robust anti-bribery and corruption policy which we expect all our employees and representatives to adhere to at all times.

Environment

Our Environmental Management System is certified to ISO 14001:2015.

The mechanical cleaning services we provide are designed to improve production and thermal efficiency, avoid additional costs and contribute to a reduction in GHG emissions.

By trapping potential pollutants before they enter water ways we are able to contain these for further processing or suitable disposal. The development of our filtration machinery was to recognise the opportunity to recover process water, clean it, reuse it and ultimately more ethically dispose.

Our inspection and integrity business serves not only to minimise the risk of safety related incidents, but also to reduce the risk of environmental release.

In terms of our own contribution to environmental load we have in place a number of programmes to reduce this.

Health & Safety

Implicit in our activities is the desire and requirement to operate safety and efficiently.

We continuously assess and discuss risk. We look for ways to reduce this through design, mitigations and our actions to ensure all our people and any others who may be impacted by our activities are as safe as possible.

We maintain a robust Health and Safety Manual, practical policies, standards and procedures. This is reflected in our ISO 45001:2018 certification.
