Cokebusters Reflects on a Successful ADIPEC 2025

06 November 2025

The ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference has become an annual highlight for the Cokebusters team – a fixture in our calendar and a valued opportunity to engage directly with our partners, affiliates and clients across the global energy industry.

Recognised as one of the world’s largest and most influential gatherings for energy professionals, ADIPEC 2025 once again drew more than 200,000 attendees and over 2000 exhibitors to Abu Dhabi. Representing Cokebusters were Managing Director James Phipps, NDT Development Manager Chris Peyton, Commercial Project Co-ordinator Pourya Mirilavasani and KTP Associate Honyu You, who showcased our latest technologies and connected with industry leaders throughout the week.

Strengthening Partnerships and Expanding Collaboration

This year’s exhibition was especially significant as we signed a new partnership agreement with NPICO, marking an important step in our ongoing expansion across the Middle East and North Africa.

We were also pleased to renew our engagement with Argus, 4Pipe Hidropig and ADNOC, reinforcing our shared commitment to the provision of combined services for pipeline cleaning and inspection.

In addition, we were delighted to meet with our new partners QFAB / Petrotec for Qatar, as well as representatives from the British Chamber of Commerce, the British Embassy and the Welsh Government, who continue to support British innovation overseas.

Showcasing Innovation: Mark 7 Phased Array and Header Bypass Technology

ADIPEC 2025 provided the perfect platform to introduce our latest developments, including the Mark 7 Phased Array inspection system, advancements in pipeline odometry and our Header Delivery System – designed to improve access, efficiency and accuracy in complex heater and pipeline configurations.

As always, our solutions for “unpiggable” pipelines were a major point of interest. Visitors were keen to learn how our intelligent pigging technology supports flow assurance, descaling and inspection with minimal disruption and production loss.

We were also proud to participate in the Technical Conference, sharing feedback on recent ADNOC Smart Pigging trials and discussing future opportunities for collaboration in data-driven integrity management.

Strengthening Relationships Across the Region

Throughout the week, the team enjoyed reconnecting with key customers across Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman, as well as discussing exciting new opportunities in China, Sudan, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and India.

The conversations were positive, forward-thinking and reflective of the shared ambition across the energy sector to achieve more efficient, reliable and sustainable operations.

Looking Ahead

We extend our sincere thanks to the Welsh Government, the Energy Industries Council (EIC) and our agent Al Mousawe for their continued support in making our participation a success.

Events like ADIPEC are invaluable – not only for connecting with existing partners and clients, but also for introducing our technology to new audiences and exploring how Cokebusters can continue to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to the global energy industry.
