Cokebusters Ltd. Welcomes A New Director To The Board

We are delighted to announce that CEO of Cokebusters USA Inc., Kevin Fordham, has accepted a role as Director of Cokebusters Ltd.

Kevin joined our team in Houston in April 2024 and since then he has achieved a great deal, having been immediately and naturally aligned with the global vision for the company.  Offering Kevin the opportunity to become more involved in the British company, we hope to narrow the divide across the Atlantic even further; encouraging a spirit of collaboration and partnership across the whole company.

Having recently reflected on a transformative year for Cokebusters USA we asked Kevin what he felt had been the biggest change at Cokebusters as a whole over the past 12 months?

Yes, so aligned is Kevin with our core company values and ethos, he even buys his shirts from the same menswear outlet as our Chairman!

Cokebusters was founded in the UK in 2005 and this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.  It was in 2013 when a new entity was opened in Houston TX, bringing our specialist combined service of mechanical cleaning and tube inspection to the American energy market.

This expansion into the United States was a bold one, particularly since Cokebusters was still a relatively young business at the time.  The company motto at the time was “Around the Clock, Around the World” and from the beginning we prided ourselves on exporting a quality service to energy clients across Europe and the Middle East.  However the United States represented huge opportunity in the field of oil and gas, which we were not easily able to meet from the UK.

Demand seemed certain in a market which offered a limited number of qualified service providers.  Looking back to that formative time, the Chairman recollects valuable guidance and support from the US Embassy in London where staff were obviously keen to encourage an injection of high technology into Texas.

Now 12 years on, Cokebusters has established itself as a global brand with affiliates and partners all over the world.  We have plans to continue to expand in order to serve our international clients in the best way possible and we look forward to welcoming Kevin to the table for those discussions in future.
