Breaking Ground: Construction Begins on New Cokebusters USA HQ in Houston

On September 25th members of the Cokebusters USA team gathered on-site in North Houston to officially break ground on what will become the company’s new state-of-the-art headquarters. The ceremony marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the business in its 20th anniversary this year.

The event brought together key members of the Cokebusters USA leadership team, including CEO Kevin Fordham, alongside representatives from the project’s main contractor and design partners. Together, they marked the occasion with the symbolic first dig – the start of construction on the 5-acre site that will soon house a purpose-built facility designed to meet the growing demands of Cokebusters’ expanding operations across North America.

Building for the Future

The new Houston premises will feature modern office space, dedicated workshops and extensive machinery laydown areas, as well as a comprehensive test loop for hands-on training and testing.

This investment represents a major step forward for Cokebusters USA, which has operated from rented facilities in the Willowbrook area for over a decade. The custom-built site will allow for greater efficiency, improved logistical support and the capacity to continue developing the company’s world-class mechanical cleaning, intelligent pigging inspection and water filtration technologies.

The decision to invest in a permanent home in Houston underscores Cokebusters’ long-term commitment to both the energy sector in North America and its dedicated team who make the company’s success possible.

This project has been in design stage for 8 months and there has been a lot of back and forth with the architects and planners to get the layout just right, so we’d like to take the opportunity to thank them for their time and expertise.  Now with the design largely complete and construction underway, the project is on track for completion within the next 12 months. Once finished, the new headquarters will serve as a hub for training and operations, strengthening the company’s ability to support refinery and energy plant clients across the U.S., Canada, Central and South America.

As Cokebusters USA continues to expand its presence and capabilities, this new facility stands as a powerful symbol of progress – built on two decades of experience, expertise and ambition.
